I was born and raised in Cusco, Peru, a city that sits at the crossroads of ancient Inca civilization and vibrant colonial history. Growing up surrounded by the magnificent ruins of Sacsayhuamán, the cobblestone streets of the historic center, and the warmth of Andean culture shaped who I am as a person and as a teacher.

My journey into language education began when I started tutoring foreign travelers who visited Cusco and wanted to connect more deeply with the local community. I saw how even a few words of Spanish could transform someone's experience - opening doors to authentic conversations, friendships, and a deeper understanding of Peruvian culture.

After completing my training in teaching Spanish, I have had the privilege over the past 20 years of teaching students from more than 30 countries. From absolute beginners who didn’t even know how to say “hola” to advanced learners refining their accents and idiomatic expressions.
