My Story
I was born and raised in Cusco, Peru — a city that sits at the crossroads of ancient Inca civilization and vibrant colonial history. Growing up surrounded by the magnificent ruins of Sacsayhuamán, the cobblestone streets of the historic center, and the warmth of Andean culture shaped who I am as a person and as a teacher.
My journey into language education began when I started tutoring foreign travelers who visited Cusco and wanted to connect more deeply with the local community. I saw how even a few words of Spanish could transform someone's experience — opening doors to authentic conversations, friendships, and a deeper understanding of Peruvian culture.
After completing my degree in Linguistics and Education at the Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad del Cusco, I obtained my TEFL/TESOL certification and began teaching formally. Over the past 8 years, I have had the privilege of teaching students from more than 30 countries — from complete beginners who couldn't say "hola" to advanced learners refining their accent and idiomatic expressions.
